Day Five

I was given the extraordinary privilege of being among the first to listen to the upcoming Patrice album called “One Day”. I was asked if I perhaps wanted to illustrate one day of my life, influenced by a song of this album (and note: suitable for the title!), however I wanted to do it. Of course I would, I took “New Day” and a sunday, what I thought harmonises best. And what do you do with these wonderfully relaxed dubtunes on one of the last sunny days of september in my hometown Kiel? You drive to the beach to catch the last shafts of sunlight … For me being more a film- than a photodude, I produced a little 90-second clip – inspired by “New Day” by Patrice.
